Ten minutes east of our Rosehill base, which is close enough to get to a leaking roof the same day and still finish the job we are already on.

Auburn, Lidcombe and Berala are largely post-war and mid-century brick, and the roofs on them are concrete tile laid in the fifties through the seventies. That is the classic profile for the failure order we see everywhere in this part of Sydney: the tiles are still structurally fine, but the bedding mortar under the ridge caps has gone rigid and cracked, and the valley irons have rusted where leaf litter has held water against bare steel for thirty years.
Silverwater and Newington are a completely different proposition. Much of Newington was built for the 2000 Olympics and the surrounding blocks have gone up since, so you are looking at newer tile and Colorbond on tighter modern rooflines, often with box gutters and parapets on duplexes and townhouses. Those roofs rarely need restoring yet. What they need is the flashings and box gutters checked, because a modern roof that fails does it through a detail rather than through the tiles.
There is also a lot of subdivision and duplex building through Auburn and Lidcombe, which means a lot of new roofs sitting next to fifty-year-old ones, and a lot of shared boundaries where one roof drains onto another. That is worth knowing before anyone starts chasing a leak on the wrong side of a fence.

What we do
All of it starts the same way: someone gets on the roof before a price is discussed. See all ten services.

The most common repair on a Sydney tile roof, and very often the entire fix. From $800.
From $800
We find where the water gets in, not where the stain appears. Those are almost never the same place.
Free inspection · we show you the entry point
When the tiles themselves are finished, or you want the weight off the frame. Free inspection first, because a lot of roofs quoted for replacement do not need it.

Three coats, over a roof that has been cleaned and repaired first. Not a colour change on top of a problem.
Quoted once the roof is clean and sound
Moss, lichen and the black weathering that holds moisture against the tile. It comes off before anything else happens.
Usually a day, and it comes before any coating
We are based on Prospect Street in Rosehill, which is about ten minutes away. For an active leak that usually means same day, and the phone is answered around the clock.
Yes, and they need a different conversation to the older stock. Newer roofs almost never need restoring — they need flashings, box gutters and penetrations checked, because that is where a modern roof lets water in.
Usually restore, and often less than that. Concrete tile of that era routinely outlasts the house; what has failed is the mortar and the valleys. The free inspection tells you which, in writing, with the photographs.
Free inspection, photographs of every valley and ridge, and a written answer about whether you are looking at a repair or a replacement.
